In this painting, my primary medium is oil paint, which I utilized to create a rich and vibrant foundation. To enhance the overall composition and bring a touch of brilliance, I incorporated metallic ink to add subtle details and highlights on the dragon and phoenix. This shimmering effect contrasts beautifully with the depth of the oil paints. Additionally, I began the process with graphite pencils to establish a clear under sketch, ensuring that the intricate forms of the dragon and phoenix were well-defined before layering the colors. The combination of these materials not only adds dimension but also elevates the mystical qualities of the subjects, making them come alive on the canvas. Each stroke and detail were carefully considered to evoke a sense of awe and wonder in the viewer.
